Private and business sellers
Sellers will declare their status. A business seller's legal obligations can differ from those applying to a private sale. The platform will explain the distinction before checkout.
Delivery, disputes & buyer guidance
Dispatch declarations are self-reported and do not constitute identity verification or acceptance of a seller. Future complaints about non-delivery or inaccurate goods will be considered under the applicable rules for private or business sellers. Payments and refunds
Agreed proposed pricing for the ordinary marketplace: free standard listings and 0% seller commission; optional featured placement £3.99 for 7 days, premium placement £9.99 for 30 days and Designer Vault editorial listings £19.99. An ordinary marketplace buyer service fee of 4% + 49p, capped at £12, is proposed, subject to the final buyer protection, payment and refund model and full pre-checkout disclosure. No minimum resale price applies to ordinary listings. Private Vault Society membership and in-house consignments carry separate proposed annual fees and sale commissions. These are prelaunch proposals, not active charges. Binding terms, VAT treatment, payment processing, buyer protection, permitted categories and refund conditions must be confirmed before transactions open.
Privacy and data
Privacy notices, data handling, UK GDPR compliance and appropriate marketplace tax-reporting processes are part of the launch acceptance criteria.
Brand clearance
EQUESTRIAN VAULT is a working brand name. Trademark, domain and social-handle availability must be checked prior to commercial launch.
