We intend to distinguish private sellers from business traders and verify seller eligibility through independent payment-provider and administrative checks. A Wix member account is not identity verification.

Pre-loved fashion is personal. So is the trust placed in every garment, seller and transaction. Here is the approach being prepared for Equestrian Vault.

Every piece submitted to the Vault will follow an editorial process. A listing will not go live solely because its owner has opened an account or uploaded photographs. Our payment, delivery, claims and seller-verification arrangements are still being established.
Photographs & disclosure.
Listings will need clear photographs, accurate descriptions, manufacturer labels where relevant, and honest disclosure of wear, repairs and defects. Editorial review does not itself guarantee authenticity.
A complete picture.
We are designing first-displayed prices to include unavoidable buyer fees and any minimum mandatory delivery charge. Optional choices, delivery details and the final payable amount must be clear before ordering.
Delivery & fulfilment.
For paid orders in future, we plan to record dispatch, tracking or agreed collection, delivery exceptions and receipt evidence. No actual shipping tracking or order reservations are active today.
Returns & disputes.
We are developing a case process for items not received, goods materially different from their description, suspected counterfeit items and applicable return requests. Remedies and timeframes will depend on the final terms and relevant UK law.
Verified settlement.
Our aim is to release seller payments only through an approved payment provider and agreed procedures. We do not currently offer escrow, guaranteed reimbursement, insurance or a functioning dispute-payment service.
Private sellers and business traders.
Your statutory protections can differ depending on whether you buy from a business trader or a private individual. Before purchases open, each listing must make the seller's classification clear, and our legally reviewed terms must explain the rights that apply. We will not describe all transactions as having identical consumer rights.
Used riding helmets and body protectors are not eligible for listing. The Vault's editorial standards, restricted categories and marketplace terms must be finalised before opening.
Before the first sale.
No payment service, insured buyer programme or seller payout is live on Equestrian Vault today. The information on this page describes our intended controls, not a binding promise of a specific outcome or benefit. We will publish complete terms, return rules, complaint routes and privacy information before live purchasing starts.
